FREE SCORE: Chorister’s Prayer, by Peter Carter

Someone recently pointed my attention to a charming setting of the Chorister’s Prayer, as set by Peter Carter in 2015. Charming in every respect, this would be a great thing to incorporate into your vocal warmups before every rehearsal and Mass.

Here I present to you my own engraving of this work, which does more to guide appropriate rhythm than the original, which is available on CPDL. This rhythm was informed by a recording posted by the composer himself:

A QR code has been added at the bottom to point singers directly to the composer’s own recording. I hope to follow with practice tracks in the very near future.
