Greetings All—
A few quick notes about Sunday: Our Fr. Weber chant will be during the offertory rather than communion this week (I want to chant the traditional communio from the Graduale Romanum since the text is better) and the communion hymn itself will likely be new to you. The offertory hymn is a tune we have done a handful of times, but less often than others. Both are a very beautiful hymns, but things you’ll likely want to have a listen to ahead of time.
Entrance Antiphon Hymn Tune: ERHALT UNS HERR (a.k.a Take Up Thy Cross / The Glory of These 40 Days) (Video)
Entrance Antiphon:
Psalm 85: Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.
Alleluia ‘cum Magnificat’
Offertory Antiphon: Fr. Weber 1377
Offertory Hymn: Jesus, Lover of My Soul to ABERYSTWYTH (Video)
Communion Antiphon: JJR from Roman Gradual
Communion Hymn: How Shall I Sing that Majesty to COE FEN
Recessional Hymn Tune: WINCHESTER NEW (a.k.a. On Jordan’s Bank the Baptist’s Cry)
