We are back with another transcription of Gregorian chant into English! Today we present JJR’s transcription of Requiem Æternam (the GRADUAL, not Introït, which is also available here). This edition is free to use and share. It can be sung in place of a responsorial psalm at funerals or for All Souls.
The translation is based on that of the Gregorian Missal with only minor shifts to word order to more closely match the original Latin. Neume groupings have been respected as much as possible, and quilismas have been retained, and custos are included. Click the image below to download your free PDF.
