We hope you enjoy this new setting of a classic text! While everyone knows and loves the traditional Veni, Veni Emmanuel melody, it is over-done. The composer desired to breathe new life into the text and afford choirs the opportunity to sing / meditate upon it in a new way. To be clear: this arrangement (for Piano & SATB chorus) is not intended to supplant the traditional Veni Emmanuel in any way, but rather to coexist alongside it as an alternative for Sundays and Lessons & Carol services.
This work is very accessible for even modest choirs, although it requires a competent accompanist.
